Adventurous trip from Yunnan to Tibet

D1. Setting off from Zhongdian to Deqin (189 km, al. 3,000 m) stay overnight
Activities: After breakfast, pray and head-touching at Songzanlin Temple, visit Napa Meadow, have lunch at Benzilan, enjoy the valley landscape of Jinsha River, across the state-level nature reserve of Baimang Snow-Capped Mountain (4,250 m)

D2. Deqin to Mangkang (4,000m) overnight in Deqin
Activities: Overlook Meili Snow-capped Mountain, Buddhism ceremony before going on the road, enjoy the valley landscape of Lancang River all the way onward, across the river and enter Tibet to have lunch at the important access, Yanjing, over the Hongla Snow-Capped Mountain travel on the height of 4,280 m, heading for Mangkang along the Mangkang River bank, available for fishing and hunting of marmot.

D3. From Mangkang to Zuogong (158km, al. 3,980m) stay overnight at Zuogong hostel;
Activities: Across Lawu Mountain (travel through on the height of 4,358 m), down to the Zhuka Army Station by Lancang River, after Zhuka Army Station then across Bashan (at the height of 3,909 m), meet the Rongxu Army Station before across Dongdala Mountain (travelling at the height of 5,008 m, the highest of the whole trip)

D4. Leave Zuogong for Bashu (207 km, White Horse, al. 3,900m), stay overnight
Activities: Set off from Zuogong to Dabangda Army Station (110 km), at the height of 4,350 m, have lunch, across Yela Snow-capped Mountain, travel at the height of 4,618 m, down 99 turns to Nujiang River, through Nujiang River tunnel to arrive at Bashu County.

D5. From Basu to Ranwu Lake (90 km), picnic at Ranwu Lake over 3,500 m high.
Activities: Across Bala Mountain at the altitude of 4,150 m; enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ranwu Lake, half-day break, fishing, leisure, picnic and camping available.

D6. From Ranwu Lake to Bomi (Zhamu, 129 km, al. 3,000m). Stay overnight at Bomi Hotel.
Activities: The 83- 86 section from Ranwwu Lake is the most hard trip, the day is finished with the company of primeval forest, have a picnic by the primeval forest near 87 road.

D7. From Bomi to Linzhi (Bayi Town 216 km, al. 3,150 m). Stay overnight at Linzhi Guesthouse.
Activities: March on along the tropical river valley of Yarlung Zangbo River to Longdao Risk for picnic, over Sejila Mountain at the height of 4,700 , overlook Najiabawa Peak of 7,756 m high, arrive at Bayi Town, the capital of Linzhi region for overnight. This is the most difficult day of the whole trip, rough road, very risky.

D8. From Linzhi to Gongbu River bank (146 km, at he height of 3,500m), stay at the county hostel;
Activities: Travel through the forest from Linzhi to reach Baiba for Lunch

D9. From Gongbu River to Lhasa (274 km, al. 3,650 m) stay in Lhasa
Activities: On the way, travel through the forest, onto grassland and lunch at Mila.

Followed by a three-day trip at Lhasa, activities include the Potala Palace, Octangle Street, Grand Temple, Zebeng temple, Sela temple, gandan temple and Luobulin Temple.

D13. Finish the whole trip at Lhasa Gongga Airport (85 km from Lhasa).
